in ‘god’s sketchbook’, illustrators richard and christopher fairhead together assume the role of fictional creator at the dawn of time. real creatures, and planetary features that exist today are presented alongside rejects later shuffled out of the pack by evolution. during the 10 days of their residency the sketchbook further evolves from an original series of framed sketches to the walls of the gift shop.
