the gift shop is a place for sharing gifts. it has 3 non-commercial parts:

artists space
studio space donated to artists for short residencies. in return they share their work with the public, and leave something behind for the shop.
the gift exchange
where ‘gifts’ made by individuals or groups are exchanged for other ‘gifts’, not sold.
gifted
a series of workshops and conversations aimed at inspiring individuals and groups to discover and share their gifts.

our values are simple:
that everything should have a return / we aim to re-use and re-purpose as much of what comes into or from the space as possible. co-creation and community / we begin with a blank sheet and are influenced by what comes into the shop. we enagage with and are inspired by what is around us. generosity / that our gifts are made to be shared, and there should be no condition placed on them. spontaneity / the best gifts are given with love and received spontaneously and joyfully.
