so after an exciting first day, i have a few ideas up my sleeves.  the romanian jewellers are going to come and do some singing with me (i’ll post times when they are confirmed), mr singh would like to come and do some tailoring (time dependent,  will work on this),  ali is keen to teach me how to do kick ups, i think i’ll get all the other aspiring footballers along to this as well and shabaz is coming to do some writing.

a brilliant start, i’m really excited.

also have acquired my first swaps and gifts for my stall in the shop,  they are:

a red market bag, which i have made my offsite onsite sign from as well as text for my bunting.  this was given to me by the market goods wholesaler on commercial road, when we were talking about my project “here you go darli’, why don’t you have this to get you started”

a rather lovely bangladeshi scarf as a present to thank me for taking the time to talk to him from abdul.

a spectacular set of sequinned short pyjamas in return for ten minutes of my time on his stall from izi.

a distinct lack of women, i’ll go on the prowl tomorrow.

what’s interesting is how much people value time as a commodity
