“if you liked it then you should’ve put a ring on it”

it’s an hour before closing and people have been coming in to say adios to the world created by richard and chris fairhead.  the body of work consisting of 40 pieces (41 including the wall) has broken out in purple dots since it was created as people seek to take a piece of ‘god’s sketchbook’ home with them.

having the fairheads in house has been an absolute delight.  the sense of lightness you get from being around them and their work is infectious.  it’s been great witnessing people’s faces as they come in from the wind tunnel that is east mount street and break into smile.  being next to the hospital, the space is serving as a bit of a respite for those visiting loved ones.

as for chris and richard, we wish them continued success as we do to all the people to date we’ve been honoured to collaborate with.  keep an eye out for them.
